His magic act has taken him to four continents and to perform among other top names in entertainment.

Steve Legg first hit the road with his unique and funny blend of dangerous escapes, comedy, daft magic and daring escapology some fifteen years ago.

A special man with a special story.

Steve delighted the crowd, involving people of different ages in his act and amazing us with his skills.

The William Booth Memorial Halls Band

....A little of their History

Queen Victoria was on the throne when a band, the fourth oldest in the Salvation Army,
was founded in Nottingham in 1880.
Then known as Nottingham 1 Band it faced opposition in the early years and difficulty obtaining
instruments, but out of adversity emerged a band with 40 members who proudly marched the streets, which were often lined with city folk enjoying the spectacle.

~ ~ ~

Bandmaster Duncan Cameron is now in charge, taking over when Bandmaster Garrett retired in 2000.
Under his leadership the band continues to play and travel and seek out new ways of ministry.
A thriving Friends of the Band scheme now exists and under its auspices there have been great festivals
in which the band has worked with some of the foremost brass virtuosi in the country.

~ ~ ~
The Salvation Army was founded by William Booth.

In May 1912 William Booth, founder of The Salvation Army, made his last public speech. He said:
"While women weep as they do now, I'll fight;
while little children go hungry as they do now, I'll fight;
while men go to prison, in and out, in and out, as they do now, I'll fight;
while there is one drunkard left,
while there is a poor lost girl upon the streets,
while there remains one dark soul without the light of God,
I'll fight - I'll fight to the very end."

Why One World Festival ?

Why One World Festival....why have it why do it ?

You could have different answers to this question, depending on who you ask !

The Bible says that all things were made for Jesus by Jesus and through Jesus....

So that is the Best answer.

The best about the One World Festival is if it pleases Our Heavenly Father and if He sees His children being like Him.

We hope that the One World Festival helps us to connect with the Heavenly Father...which happens through the Son, Jesus and we hope it helps Him connect with this One World.

So may we, in the programme and in the way we treat one another and take action in the world - whether by our purchases or our passing money on by donations, or by support....Hear God's voice and be His hands.
